Z Place is a unique gathering place, community center, and networking hub that houses a full range of innovative learning and community services designed to enhance the lives of children, families, and communities. Further, it is a center focused on providing services to Scotlandville and the surrounding communities of Baton Rouge.
Z Place provides a network of resources and partners that provide services that strengthen families and support early learning and student success. We work to align and integrate best-in-class service providers to schools and community organizations in order to deliver seamless services to kids and families.
Z Place is located on the bluff in Scotlandville and provides support to schools and community organizations across the East Baton Rouge Parish region. Other Zoom sites will expand the Z Place Network through the corridor. Zoom Sites will be smaller facilities, located at schools, churches, and community centers that will house non-profit partners and programs which meet the needs of the neighborhood students and families.
