A four-day facilitated program created to aid participants in safely addressing emotional pain, behavior, and disconnection that sometimes follows a traumatic experience. This is a group-oriented experience providing participants with peer support, education, and innovative tools to aid in the recovery process.

Trauma is now a much broader phenomenon than once imagined.

Defined as any experience that creates overwhelming feelings or an event that is perceived as life-threatening.

No two people have the same reaction to traumatic experiences. Yet, an often-shared trait of trauma is a sense of loss of connection to ourselves, our families, and even the world around us. It’s as if we inhaled a strong sense of loss and personal defectiveness without directions how to exhale.

Co-disorders, eating disorders, sexual disorders, and financial disorders are common ways unresolved trauma surfaces and recycles in a self-defeating manner. Desperation and exhaustion typically follow.

  • Identify trauma sources and how they impact decisions
  • Develop tools to reconnect with the body, self and others
  • Learn to reconcile and recover from the effects of trauma
  • Understand how and what we use to medicate trauma and how it can block true connection with self and others in relationships
